Because there are so many challenges facing male carers in our modern day living: parenting, relationships, fitting in, looking and feeling good, ageing, discrimination, disconnection, disability, illness… This male carers group would discuss and tackle some of those challenges. The group focuses on carers personal needs and interests by exploring unique human experiences, development of peer support and experiential learning through fun activities. The aim of this group is to empower carers to: * Better understand, reflect on and accept personal challenges and their accommodation into everyday life. * Develop further competencies, strengths and capacities by sharing strategies for coping and gaining emotional stability.
